Dani Front-End Design & Development
I’m Dani and I’m a front-end web developer. I’ve been building WordPress websites for the past 3+ years and now, I’m looking to fully transition into design-thinking and data visualization roles. My goal is to make data more human by transforming analytics into accessible and comprehensible designs.
I grew up in Seoul, Manila, Koror, Kuala Lumpur, Boston, but currently, I’m based in New York City. Because of my upbringing, I’ve been told that I’m particularly adept at building relationships with other cultures. I aim to bring diversity and inclusion into my work.
I had to frequently travel due to family relocations so I joined AirAsia X to learn more about how the aviation industry works.
I was intrigued by how accurate (and creepy) online advertisement was targeting me so I interned at Mindshare to learn more about digital marketing and ad operations.
I became fascinated by today’s emerging technology so I pursued my Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction-equivalent, Interactive Telecommunications (ITP) from New York University to learn more about our future with automated tools.
I’m an analytical, curious, and empathetic person I need to understand the how and why first. I intend to solve complex problems through research and user-centrered strategy. And never stop learning. This is how I approach my projects.
Lastly, I enjoy airplane food, robot vacuums, and white sneakers.
